Although from Minnesota, Jon graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California with a degree in architecture in 1995.  A move back to the Midwest shortly thereafter started an architectural career focused primarily upon commercial, institutional and governmental ventures.  While Jon sets time aside each week for cooking and basketball, an activity he has continually played and coached at various levels since grade school, he stridently pursues architecture as “the meaningful definition of space”.
