During a facility-wide mechanical and life safety upgrade program, the city took the opportunity to make some much needed space improvements. In response to the highly successful historical City Council Chambers renovation, the city was desirous of creating the same historical impression with the mayor's offices. Under a very tight budget the task included utilizing current sustainable materials and finishes to be an example of the city's historical archives for inspiration, the space has been reconfigured to capitalize on the spectacular view of the City Government Center. Colors have been selected from the City Hall's standard historical palate; original doors, hardware and furniture from storage has been refurbished and reused.
