This 40,000 square foot garden center seamlessly combines a retail garden shop, nursery operations, administrative office and gift shop. The glass and metal agrarian style structure features the business’ trademark red roof and awnings to connect old and new, while red trusses and clerestory windows accent the 28,000 square foot indoor retail space. Since the new facility opened, Gerten’s business has tripled, making the company a major competitor in the Twin Cities greenhouse and nursery business.
